We make bags for makers! Hide & Hammer is a female owned and run business based in the Cotswolds UK. Founded in 2017 by Nu who used her skills as a saddler to create some of the first knitting bags made from leather.

I adore this bag, I have one of the ice-dye roll tops with neon yellow straps, and the tie top goes perfectly with it. Just the right size to wrange a giant shawl project, and such a pleasing colour!

The tie top bags are more useful and practical than I ever imagined and I just love the coral pink colourway.
It sits perfectly inside my roll top bag, and it holds my current project on the needles, while the rest of my projects yarn sits inside the roll top bag, just underneath my linen tie top. It’s beautiful and so well made, I’m glad I bought a handle for it, so I’m not always hiding/nesting it inside another bag!
