Care

Washing instructions

You can remove your leather straps with the popper attachment, and add your bag to your washing machine on a cool cycle. You can wash it up to 30 degrees Celsius with a mild detergent. In order to preserve the waterproof quality of your bag we recommend using detergent if absolutely necessary.

Reproofing the Canvas

If you notice after a few washes that you canvas isn’t waterproof anymore, you can purchase our recommended re-proofing spray. Or use a dry wax reproofing product.

You can tell if your bag is loosing it’s waterproof quality because drops of water will be absorbed into the canvas rather than beading up and rolling off.

Leather Care

You can care for your leather using a natural cream conditioner. We recommend using Renapur as it gives an overall energy finish to the leather. You ideally want to apply this with a soft cloth or sponge to avoid scraping the surface of the leather. Once applied leave it to soak in and then buff with a soft cloth.

British Millerain

We’ve taken a big step this year and upgraded our canvas. We have been working closely with our new canvas mill to produce the best quality cloth we can for your bags. I’m so pleased to introduce you to the first bespoke colour in our range - Honey.

Honey has taken up the torch in place of your beloved mustard that’s been a best selling colour for the last 7 years. The honey is a little warmer in colour and the perfect autumnal lift for your wardrobe this season.

Roll top #03

Stylish and practical .
I hoped to own one of these after seeing them at Unravel some years ago but couldn’t justify the outlay then .
Some online vouchers for a recent birthday went towards this much wanted purchase.
Already in use and admired at
my local knit group.

Beautiful bag

This is the second bag I have bought. The first was a present for a friend. Beautifully made and ideal for knitting socks 😁. Holds wool, pattern, needles with plenty of room.

Well-designed and handy

This bag is worth the expense, as it is so well designed for knitting, and is a cool item to have sitting around, which means that you use it frequently. It holds the knitting and wool upright, rather than falling over like a cheaper tote might, and it's less bulky than a basket. I have taken it on trips where the top closure is invaluable, and so is the handle which means you can hold the bag on one arm without it impeding your knitting, plus it looks great so you don't mind carrying it. It makes your knitting really compact and easy to sling in a suitcase or backpack or travelling on the hoof. Probably even in a bike pannier without your knitting falling out or losing stitches etc. Really worth it. I hesitated, but don't. It's great.
