Handmade from dry oilskin canvas with leather handles and a striped shoulder strap, this lightweight and robust go anywhere splash proof bag is a must have for any Hide & Hammer aficionado.
Easy to use and maintain, the #11 features 6 internal pockets and is beautifully lined with a 100% cotton ticking, this is your go to for versatility.

You are purchasing the midnight blue bag with Dark brown leather handles and leather drawstring lace. Complete with ecru and blue striped webbing strap.

Care
100% dry waxed cotton canvas finished in one of Englands oldest mills. The dry finish of the canvas means there's no residue and it's warm to the touch but without compromising it's water repllency.
To wash we recommend spot cleaning with care by hand in cool warm water.
High quality soft leather straps, use non-abrasive cream leather conditioner.

All of our parcels are sent plastic free, carefully wrapped in tissue paper and sent in padded mailing bags or boxes.
Delivery
UK orders have the option of 24 or 48 hour delivery at checkout.
International parcels all ship recorded delivery you will receive a tracking number when your order ships.

We send post out on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

My daughter and I just got back from our weekend trip. We each had our #11’s to take for their first outing. Both carried clothes, toiletries and gifts for several days. We likely had it filled with 20 pounds apiece. The bags expanding made it versatile for the change in capacity going and returning. The shoulder strap and leather handles made pick up and carrying quick and easy. Never once did we feel that the straps were going to fail or give way. Top leather cord made opening and closing a breeze, but stayed safely closed. We rode the train and they fit nicely in the overhead bin. These bags met and exceeded our expectations, as Hide & Hammer bags always do.

The Large Canvas Oilskin Bucket Bag is a total joy. It looks and feels gorgeous and is lighter to carry and stronger than I thought it would be.
I bought it to use as a ‘caddy’ for various knitting projects. But it’s currently job is housing everything I need for a 3 night getaway break in Madrid. It’s roomy enough, easy to carry and squash into overhead lockers.
The thing about H&H bags is that, although they seem on the costly side, they are truly great value. The quality of the materials and the construction is significantly better than mainly of the ‘high end’ labels.
My advice: if you’re dithering, buy it.

I wasn’t going to let my H&H parcel get the better of me
….. so counted to 10 before I opened it. The wait was worth it….. the bucket bag is beautiful. Perfect for an overnight stay and perfect for a large knitting project. Beautifully made and much better than I could have anticipated. Yes it is not cheap but yes it is worth every penny. A treat for me because I am worth it. Thank you ladies for this perfection x

Great bag! At first I thought this a little expensive but when it arrived I thought it was worth every penny. Having the choice of two smaller handles and a long across body handle is such a good idea. I would highly recommend this bag….it is my third bag from Hide and Hammer as I have two 03 bags as well (I would also highly recommend them too. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
